They come in Pink!!!
My handsome husband has a 20 year old hobby - Archery Hunting.
He prefers to call himself the "Deer Slayer"

Over the years he has took the kids out scouting,
hiking, target shooting...
2 years ago Braxton went on his 1st bow hunt with the guys-
He had a great hunt but was unsuccessful.

Last year Braxton hunted, spotted, shot,
killed, tracked & found his first deer-
with the help of Justin & Barney of coarse.
What an accomplishment! "Archery"
This year Harley is going with dad & the guys as well.
She & I took Hunter's Safety at the beginning of the year- We Passed!
BUT...in order to Archery Hunt she has to pull back 40 lbs...
so she still has a few things to work on before August.
Justin & I decided it was time to make that
somewhat expensive purchase...
Look at what we found...
They come in PINK now...
I cant wait to give it to her!!!

Lucky Duck
Justin & I, Michael & Sherry (my sis), Judy & Larry
(Justin’s parents), Kristi (Justin’s sis), Mom & Dad
all hopped the fun bus to Wendover.
On the bus we played Bingo…mom won the lucky duck!
We got off at Montego Bay, walked in the front doors and mom
already had a twenty dollar bill out & ready to put in the
1st “Lucky 7’s” dollar machine she saw.
WINNER!!! $150.00 in the first 5 minutes.
I cashed her out and dragged her to the restaurant so that we could all sit down and eat until John & Corina arrived.
After eating & waiting around for a little while,
I was feeling excited for my mother and wanted to try my luck…
especially since she let me rub her lucky duck!
So I snuck out to “look for” John & Corina…
put $10.00 in a different Lucky 7’s dollar machine and Ta Da… $40.00 - I love that duck!!!
Even if it is only $40.00 - I was very thrilled.
I just don’t win on the slots and they certainly don’t hold my attention for very long.
Black Jack is my thing!!! So I cashed out, found John & Corina,
said my “so longs” grabbed Justin & headed off to find a nice comfy seat at the tables. Crown & Coke please…keep them coming!
Mom continued to win, dad won, John won,
Sherry won & Justin won.
I DID NOT win. Next time!
All in all I had a Fabulous time.
I know that everyone else did as well.
Especially my parents.
2 for 2? Next week...Mom, Sherry, Brook, Hunter & I are attempting yet another road trip…San Leandro California!!!
It has been much to long since we have had a visit with my Aunt Birdie. (Mom’s sis) I am so excited to spend this time with my family. I want to take Hunter for a nice long walk on the Ocean & search for treasures! He has never seen the Ocean.
Be sure to check back in March I will post all the pictures from our Journey.
xoxo

No Place That Far
This was me & my mom’s song.
She does not remember it much, but that's ok...
I remember enough for the both of us!
I can't imagine, any greater fear
Than waking up, without you here,
And though the sun, would still shine on,
My whole world, would all be gone,
But not for long,
If I had to run, if I had to crawl
If I had to swim a hundred rivers, just to climb a thousand walls,
Always know that I would find a way, to get to where you are,
There's no place that far
It wouldn't matter why we're apart,
Lonely miles or two stubborn hearts
Nothing short of God above
Could turn me away from your love
I need you that much
If I had to run, if I had to crawl
If I had to swim a hundred rivers, just to climb a thousand walls,
Always know that I would find a way, to get to where you are,
There's no place that far
If I had to run, if I had to crawl
If I had to swim a hundred rivers, just to climb a thousand walls,
Always know that I would find a way, to get to where you are,
There's no place that far

Mom vs. Wii...
On December 31st when mom was released from the Hospital she & my dad went to live at Sherry's. Sherry takes such wonderful care of them. I help out as much as possible & visit a lot but we decided that I would take mom & dad every other weekend-sometimes more- so that Sherry can relax & my family can have some time with my parents. We go shopping, visit friends & play the Wii!!! (Great Physical Therapy!)
Hunter & I sat down to create a Mii character for the parents-
Hunter gave my mom gray hair & glasses.
I think she was a little offended!
Mom wasn't to sure about the whole bowling thing
but once she got the hang of it...
I would say she rather enjoyed it. She did try to get away
with "sitting" & bowling but Hunter kept her in line.
"Stand-Up Gramma".
She bowled 1 strike & she scored 122! Holla!!!
Tomorrow we are going to attempt WENDOVER!
Make sure you check back for that update...
should be very interesting.
