2010

January:
Started out wonderful!
Mom is home from the hospital (heart attack) and doing good.
We all got together at Sherry’s house and brought in the new year as a family!

February:
Happy 65th Birthday Mommy
Wendover!!
We all…and I mean ALL of us, hoped on the fun bus and headed out.
Even my big brother John showed up!
(wish I would have taken pictures)

March:
Mom, Sherry, Brooklynn, Hunter and I took a road trip to California to visit Aunty Birdie
kinda scary, kinda dirty, but had so much fun!

I also lost a Beautiful Dear Friend this month in 2010
Stephanie was my best friends little sister.
She was beautiful, funny and compassionate.

December 13th 1980 - March 20th 2010

April:
My Awesome Gorgeous Grand Nephew was Born.
Parker Chase Mackay ~ I love you so much!

May:
Justin and I celebrated 2 years of marriage this month :)

This particular month forever changed my life.
On May 11th a 4 year old little boy whom I have never met was murdered by his own mother and her husband. His name was Ethan Stacy. He lived in Virginia with his daddy but was “ordered” to spend the summer in Layton Utah with his mother by a Florida Judge; one Maura T. Smith  who didn’t take...not even a moment, to read about the non existence between the mother and child, much less the statement from Ethan’s daddy that Stephanie (the mother) was unstable and had abandoned Ethan.
Stephanie and Nathan Sloop TOGETHER murdered this beautiful sweet boy and tried to bury his body up Ogden Canyon.
Ethan’s story is absolutely horrifying, tragic, heartbreaking…
My heart is broken in places that I didn’t even know existed for what Ethan endured.
He has taught me many things about “life” being a better mommy, using a softer voice, remembering to count my blessings – not once, but twice and most importantly about Child Abuse Awareness.
Ethan Stacy is my hero.
Justice for Ethan Stacy

June:
Braxton moved in with his dad this month :( I miss him very much!
This year he will start his first year of high school AND get his drivers license!
~ sigh ~
Hunter started baseball, he was great and we had so much fun watching him!
As I was taking pictures of him, I looked over and saw this! I had to capture it.
“My Family”
All there just to watch Hunter. We are very blessed!

We also spent a lot of time at the Herriman Reservoir this summer - my kids love the water!

Harley ~ Hunter ~ Braxton

July:
Every year Justin & I buy tickets to the rodeo ~ “The Western Stampede”
More and more family join in each time and I love it! :)

August:
The Bow Hunt
Harley joined in this year for her first hunt. She participated, she had fun, but we soon discovered that Harley enjoys archery for the sport , not the kill.
I am JUST FINE with that!
Braxton however, he is in it for the hunt.
He LOVES his chicken friend deer meat!! “yuck”

We are going to Vegas for Tournament in February!

September:
This month Justin and I attended 2 awesome concerts!
1.      Sheryl Crow
2.      Gary Allen
Gary Allen was amazing! I will go see him every time.

Hunter and Brooklynn participated in a 1 mile Teddy Bear K Marathon!
They both did such a wonderful job.
The marathon was put on by the Children’s Justice Center.

October:
I didn’t get to see Braxton this Halloween (sad)  I miss him!

Spidaman!

not really sure!

my cute momma!

November:
This year Thanksgiving was very different.
We spent the Holiday at Angela's house (my cousin)
My brothers didn't show up, my niece and her family couldn't make it and my nephew is still in Korea on his mission.
The day was still wonderful because my mom was there and I was with my family and my sis!

December:
Christmas!
This Christmas was very special.
You see,
last Christmas my mom was in the hospital due to a heart attack.
On December 2nd she stopped breathing. My 2 brothers performed CPR on her until the paramedics arrived. The paramedics had to shock her heart, they were successful and was able to transport her to the hospital.
Mom spent the first 2 weeks in ICU and the last 2 weeks in Physical Therapy.
She did suffer some brain damage-
but she was alive, back home and cuter than ever!
This year I was able to give my mom a kiss
and say Merry Christmas... for the last time.
On January 3rd 2011 my mother passed away.
I miss her so much.
She was the best mommy a daughter could ask for.
I love you mom around the world and back to infinity and beyond forever and always and no matter what.

Perfect!

I just wanted you to know,
That I'll be with you wherever you go.
I've gotten my wings and learned how to fly,

And I'll dry your tears whenever you cry.
Though I've went away and it seems we're apart,

You will forever be my soul and my heart.
The love that we shared will not go astray,
For deep in my heart it will always stay.
You held me close when I was filled with pain,
Your smile gave me sunshine when my life filled with rain.
You guided me when no one else could,
You protected me when no one else would.
We've shared so much that mere words can't express
how knowing you has made me feel truly blessed.
So please dear daughter, fret not for me,
for now my soul is truly free.
So think of me often, as much as you can,
And I'll always be there to hold your hand.
I'll be your angel and guide you through life,
I'll give you comfort through torment and strife.
So thanks dear daughter again and again,
thank you always for being my daughter and my friend.

Thanks Nina
RIP and Love Mom
I love you around the world and back to infinity and beyond forever and always and no matter what.
